Which one would you like to see come back?
Personally, one of my all-time favorites was the Messenger live chat app! With its good old vibration button, MSN Plus add-on, and funny animations! It could still compete in today’s world!
IWIW launched in 2002 and was one of the largest Hungarian social networking sites! It nearly reached Facebook-level popularity here in Hungary, but Meta eventually took control.
MyVIP was popular among young people, mainly for dating and chatting. (Hungary)
Citromail was a very popular and loved email service, but Gmail eventually took over its popularity here as well. (Hungary)
Docler, Vocler, Infovip, Hotdog, and many other webcam sites existed, often using the now-defunct Flash technology. These were video chat sites, which were incredibly popular back then, comparable to today’s TikTok. (Hungary)
